Romans web Mature

Mature on Tellura flags content aimed at adult readers: serious themes, complex morality, and content that wouldn't fit a young-adult shelf. Less explicit than the adult genre, but still expects a grown audience.

In practice the tag covers ambiguity more than explicitness: compromised institutions, adult relationships with real consequences, and protagonists whose choices do not resolve cleanly. Readers looking specifically for explicit scenes want sexual-content, which is separately flagged and age-gated. Mature on its own signals audience, not heat level. It is applied per novel by the author rather than inferred from the genre it sits in.
