Romans web Romance Subplot

Romance-subplot novels on Tellura aren't about romance, but they include it. Fantasy adventures where the lead and a party member grow close, sci-fi missions where the crew gets entangled, cultivation stories with sect-mate relationships. Distinct from the romance genre, which centers love as the primary plot.

The tag exists to separate two very different reading experiences: romance as the plot, which is the genre, and romance as a thread inside something else. This is the second. It signals that the relationship develops without displacing the main story. Pairs with slow-burn, where the extra runway is exactly the point.
