Romans web Medieval

Medieval novels on Tellura draw on the feudal era: castles, knights, peasants, monarchies. Real historical settings, alternate medieval worlds, and the default backdrop for much of high fantasy. Pairs with historical, kingdom-building, war, and magic-system.

Worth separating the two halves: genuine historical medieval fiction, where the constraints are real, and medieval-flavoured fantasy, where the castles are set dressing for a magic system. Both live under this tag and they read nothing alike. Pair with historical-period for the first, with magic-system or kingdom-building for the second.
