Death Web Romanları

The death tag on Tellura warns that characters the reader has invested in may not survive the story, including leads. It is a content warning rather than a genre, and it applies whether the death is on the page or in the backstory. Pairs with tragedy, gore, and war.

Serials have a particular relationship with this warning, because hundreds of chapters of investment make a death land differently than a single sitting would. Authors who use the tag are promising not to spring it. Readers who want the weight without the loss should look at bittersweet, which keeps the cost and spares the character.
