What is early access

Early access lets subscribers read a novel's scheduled chapters before their public release date. Authors schedule chapters to go live later. A subscription moves you ahead of that schedule.

How the advance window works

Every subscription tier includes a number of advance chapters. When you subscribe, the chapters inside your tier's window open for you right away. A larger tier moves you further ahead.

Early access covers scheduled chapters only

Early access applies to chapters an author has scheduled for a future release date. It does not apply to drafts, which are unpublished chapters the author is still working on, and it does not change chapters that are already public. A chapter with no release date is not part of the advance pool.

Your window follows the schedule

As each scheduled chapter reaches its public release time, it becomes free for everyone and the next scheduled chapter moves into your window. As long as the author keeps scheduling, you stay about the same number of chapters ahead of the public release.

Some advance chapters cost coins

Advance chapters come in two kinds. Free advance chapters are included with your subscription. Premium advance chapters still cost coins to unlock, the same as premium chapters in the public archive. Each tier card shows the mix of free and premium advance chapters before you subscribe, so you know what is included before you pay.

Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel at any time. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. After that, you stop seeing chapters that are still ahead of the public schedule. Chapters that have already released publicly stay free to read.
