Chapter 38 — Chaos
Several hours later...
Li Tianyu arrived at another battlefield.
The moment he approached, he sensed the enormous amount of chaotic aura ahead.
He slowed down and looked toward the battlefield.
His expression became slightly strange.
'That's... a lot of people.'
The battlefield below was enormous.
Mini Men.
Rockmen.
Beastmen.
Humans.
Four different races were fighting one another.
There were more than a thousand Gu Masters involved.
The entire area had descended into complete chaos.

A massive explosion erupted.
A Rank Three Gu Master was sent flying.
Before he could stabilize himself, another Gu Master attacked from the side.
Several Rank Four Gu Masters were already fighting high above the battlefield.
They flew through the air using various flight-type Gu worms, exchanging powerful attacks.
Killer moves occasionally flashed across the sky.
Below them...
Rank Three and Rank Two Gu Masters fought in groups.
Rank One Gu Masters were scattered throughout the battlefield.
There were even several young Gu Masters whose combat strength was astonishing.
Some geniuses were able to fight across an entire major realm.
A Rank Two Gu Master fought a Rank Three opponent.
Another Rank Three genius actually managed to contend with a Rank Four Gu Master for a short period.
Curses continuously echoed across the battlefield.
"Beastman bastard!"

"Mini Men, don't run!"
The four races fought without restraint.
Li Tianyu watched silently for several moments.
His expression gradually became serious.
This wasn't a battlefield he could casually exploit.
There were too many powerful Gu Masters.
There were even Rank Four Gu Masters flying through the air.
If he tried to steal Gu worms here...
He would immediately attract the attention of the strongest experts.
Even his Rank Three combat strength wouldn't be enough to guarantee his safety.

There was no need to take unnecessary risks.

He activated his flight-type killer move and quickly left the battlefield.

Eggmen were fighting Mushroommen.

The Eggmen primarily used Egg Path and defensive methods, with many of their Gu worms revolving around protection, reproduction, and physical transformation.
The Mushroommen relied heavily on Wood Path, Poison Path, and Transformation Path methods.
Spores filled portions of the battlefield.
Strange mushrooms rapidly grew from the ground.
Poisonous mist spread through the air.
The Eggmen responded with various defensive and physical-strengthening methods.
There were several Rank Three Gu Masters on each side.
Below them...
Around a hundred Rank Two Gu Masters fought on each side.
Hundreds of Rank One Gu Masters were also participating.
The battlefield was extremely crowded.
Li Tianyu hovered high above them.
He observed the situation for a moment.
Then...
His eyes narrowed.
'This one should work.'
He immediately activated his killer move.
"Fire Path Killer Move — Crimson Soul Snatch."
Boom!
Crimson fireballs descended from the sky.
They rained toward the battlefield.
Li Tianyu didn't directly target one side.
He focused on the Eggmen and Mushroommen alike.
His goal wasn't to kill them.
It was to steal their Gu.
The first Gu worm was successfully pulled from an Eggman's aperture.
Li Tianyu immediately flew toward it.
At almost the same moment...
"Who is that?!"
"Someone is stealing our Gu!"
"Stop him!"
The battlefield erupted.
Gu Masters from both sides noticed Li Tianyu.
Unlike the previous battles...
There were far more people here.
Attacks immediately filled the sky.
Fire.
Poison.
Wooden spikes.
Egg-shaped projectiles.
Spore clouds.
Sharp blades.
Explosive egg Gu worms.

His figure became a crimson streak.
He weaved through the battlefield.
One attack passed beneath him.
Another flew past his shoulder.
He twisted sideways.
A poisonous cloud swept across his previous position.
Li Tianyu accelerated.
Then suddenly descended.
A barrage of wooden spikes passed overhead.
He immediately changed direction again.
His movement was extremely precise.
There were simply too many attacks.
He couldn't afford even a moment of carelessness.
At the same time...
His killer moves continuously activated.
"Fire Path Killer Move — Crimson Soul Snatch!"
Another Gu worm was pulled from an aperture.
"Fire Path Killer Move — Blazing Sanctuary!"
Crimson flames expanded around his body.
The incoming attacks were burned apart.
A poisonous spore cloud was incinerated.
Several wooden spikes were reduced to ash.
Then another wave arrived.
Li Tianyu continued moving.
He had an enormous advantage.

He didn't need to conserve his primeval essence like an ordinary Rank Two Gu Master.
As long as his body could keep up...
He could continuously activate his killer moves.

The battle gradually became a chaotic pursuit.

They chased after him using their flight-type Gu worms.

He flew between attacks.
He used Blazing Sanctuary whenever necessary.

Phoenix Rebirth Flame immediately restored his body.

Crimson Soul Snatch continued stealing Gu worms.
Some Rank Two geniuses also joined the pursuit.

The Rank Three Gu Masters began retreating.
Some returned to their original battlefield.
Others withdrew entirely.
The Rank Two geniuses followed them.
Li Tianyu didn't pursue them.
There was no need.
He had already obtained enough.
After nearly an hour of chaotic fighting...
Li Tianyu finally stopped.
He checked his aperture.
A faint smile appeared on his face.
His harvest was substantial.
23 Rank Three Gu worms.
250 Rank Two Gu worms.
1,800 Rank One Gu worms.
Li Tianyu glanced back at the retreating Eggmen and Mushroommen one last time.
The two sides had already begun withdrawing from the battlefield, their forces scattered and their combatants wary of one another.
Li Tianyu didn't linger.
He activated his flight-killer move.
His figure transformed into a crimson streak and disappeared into the distance.
The chaotic battlefield gradually vanished behind him.
Another harvest had been secured.
