Chapter 4 — The Princess ( Part 2 ), R18

Ren had been worrying about how to accelerate his mana growth, but now that such a fine specimen had practically been delivered to his doorstep, there was no reason not to make use of the opportunity.

While continuing their conversation, he quietly began constructing a new spell inside his mind.

The concept was simple.

A spell that would generate corruption energy through intimate contact, which he could then convert into mana.

After several moments of experimentation, the spell took shape.

Spell of Corruption.

Ren had created it on the spot.

"Oh, so it's like this?" Lyra asked curiously as Ren talked about science and magic from his former world.

"That's really fascinating. Your world sounds completely different from ours."

Ren gave a small smile.

'She's incredibly easy to talk to.'

After another moment, he changed the subject.

"By the way, Lyra, I've been feeling rather stressed lately. Could you help me?"

"What? I... don't understand. How can I help you?"

Lyra looked genuinely confused.

Then she remembered her father's instructions. He had told her to comply with the Hero's wishes whenever possible.

Ren's eyes narrowed slightly as he realized what she was thinking.

'Just as I thought.'

The two of them were sitting side by side on the edge of the bed.

Ren first cast a soundproofing spell over the room. Once he was certain nobody outside could hear them, he cast his cleaning spell over himself and Lyra.

Lyra immediately noticed the strange sensation.

"What's this?"

She looked down at herself in surprise.

Although she had already bathed before coming to Ren's room, the spell left her feeling completely refreshed. It removed every trace of dirt and residue from her body, even cleaning away any bodily fluids and solid waste that remained.

"Oh, it's nothing. Don't worry about it."

Ren dismissed the matter casually.

If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

'Now, let's see how effective the new spell really is.'

The principle behind the Spell of Corruption was straightforward.

As long as Ren corrupted someone of the opposite sex, the spell would produce corruption energy.

That energy could then be converted into mana.

Ren activated the spell.

"Stay still, Lyra."

He reached forward and placed his hands on her chest, gently fondling her through her clothes.

"Ahh!"

Lyra's body stiffened.

"What are you doing, Hero Ren? Didn't you say you wanted me to help relieve your stress?"

"I am. This is stress relief for me."

"Ahh..."

Lyra's expression became increasingly confused.

"But why do I feel so strange? And why do I keep making these noises?"

She genuinely didn't understand what was happening.

Lyra had been raised in an extremely sheltered environment. She knew little about the intimate matters between men and women, and she had never experienced anything like this before.

Ren continued to knead her breasts through her clothing, watching her reactions carefully.

"Oh, that's just a natural reaction. Don't worry about suppressing the sounds."

He leaned closer.

"Just relax. Let it all out. Doesn't it feel good?"

"If... if you say so, Hero Ren..."

"Ahh!"

Lyra gasped again when Ren squeezed her breasts.

Her breathing became uneven.

"Huff... huff..."

"Ahh..."

"Hero Ren... I feel really strange right now."

She looked at him with a flushed and bewildered expression while he continued fondling her chest over her clothes.

After a while, Ren spoke.

"It's a little uncomfortable doing things this way, Lyra. How about you take off your clothes?"

"Ah..."

Lyra immediately shook her head.

"No, I can't, Hero Ren. My mother told me that only married couples are allowed to see each other naked."

"Oh, is that so?"

Ren stopped.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know."

He respected her refusal outwardly, though internally he wasn't particularly bothered by it.

Instead, he continued touching her over her clothes, carefully testing the limits of his newly created spell.

Lyra suddenly sucked in a sharp breath.

"Hiss..."

She had never experienced anything like this before. Even the unfamiliar pleasure was something she couldn't properly understand.

Ren continued for several more minutes before finally withdrawing his hands.

"I feel really lonely, Lyra. I need you to visit me every day, all right?"

"Y...yes. I will."

Her voice was unsteady, and her face was still flushed.

Ren gave her chest one final squeeze before pulling his hands away.

"There's something else."

Lyra looked at him.

"You can't do this with anyone else, understood? This is something reserved for the Hero."

He spoke with a serious expression.

"You're helping the Hero become stronger. If I become stronger, I'll be able to help humanity defeat the Demon King."

Lyra listened carefully.

After some time, she finally came back to her senses.

"I understand."

"Good."

Ren continued, "And don't try to do what I did by yourself. Without me there to guide you, you could hurt yourself."

Lyra immediately nodded solemnly.

"I understand."

'She really is innocent.'

Ren cast his cleaning spell over her once again, restoring her appearance and tidying her messy hair.

Lyra noticed the spell immediately.

"What spell is that, Hero Ren?"

"Oh, this? It's a cleaning spell I recently invented."

Ren raised one finger.

"You can learn it too."

He gently touched her forehead.

The knowledge of the spell flowed directly into Lyra's mind.

Because she was already a mage, she was able to understand the spell almost immediately.

Lyra's eyes widened.

"You... transferred the knowledge directly into my mind?"

She looked at Ren with open admiration.

To her, being able to create spells was already astonishing. Watching him directly transfer the knowledge of one into her mind made him seem even more extraordinary.

Ren simply smiled.

"All right. I need to train for a while. You should go as well."

"I understand, Hero Ren. I'll take my leave, then."

Lyra stood from the bed.

Before she reached the door, Ren called out once more.

"Don't tell anyone what happened just now."

Lyra turned around.

"It's a secret between us."

"Yes, I won't tell anyone, Hero Ren."

A cheerful smile appeared on her face.

She seemed strangely happy at the thought of having a secret that belonged only to the two of them.

With that, Lyra left the room.

Ren waited until the door closed before canceling the soundproofing spell.

He returned to the bed and sat down.

Inside his body was an enormous mass of corruption energy.

'That was much more than I expected.'

Lyra's extreme innocence had made even such a relatively simple act count as a major act of corruption according to the spell's rules.

As a result, the amount of corruption energy he had accumulated was enormous.

Ren immediately began converting it.

He combined the corruption energy with his mental energy and used it to draw the mana surrounding him into his body.

The effect was astonishing.

The mana in the air seemed to surge toward him as though it had been injected with stimulants, rapidly pouring into his body without stopping.

His mana capacity began increasing at a speed far beyond his previous methods.

'This is much better.'

There was another reason Ren had allowed Lyra to leave.

He had already accumulated so much corruption energy that he had reached the limit of what his current body could efficiently absorb.

Any more would simply be wasted.

'There's no point rushing.'

Ren settled back into his cultivation.

'By tomorrow, I should have used up most of this corruption energy. Then I can accumulate more again.'

For now, there was nothing else he needed to do.

He simply continued cultivating, watching his mana steadily grow.
